3904 and display key expansion module

hi all just a quick 1 I have a Nortel 3904 and have fitted a display keyboard expansion module. I can see the extra keys when I print the tn and can program numbers under the keys however when I try to label the keys on the phone I cant select the key on the module I can select the keys on the phone itself just not the module any ideas

You have to label those keys with a piece of paper under the key. Weird huh.

very starnge as its an lcd display so i would have expected it to work same as keys on the 3904 itsself

It should label just like a regular key. Since you have a DBA rather than a KBA. Can you show a print of the TN for us to look at?

The display based addon is self labeling normally. The key based addon uses paper strips like an older phone.

from memory i set it as a kba but will check tomorrow and post the tn print
