How do you reset the password back to default on a 3900 set?

so if i go to ld 32 and type
.cpwd l c s u

that should reset the 3900 set password back to default, right?

What is the default password of the 3900 sets?

The last time I had to do this, I had to run the command 2 times to get it to work and it cleared the password so there wasn't one.

the default is 12345678

if you want to disable the pwd completely, after you reset it, go to the phone and press the directory/log button, scroll down to password administration and disable it.
