3900 series phone - Light only during ring

Option 11 - Is there any way to make a 3900 series phone just have the light only during a ring cycle. My customer says he tried SCN which stopped the ring but it stopped the light also.

I have done product placement when I was at Nortel for the movie studios where they wanted the phone to work this way. They only way to do this is to open up the phone and cut the speaker wires.

Thats what I did for a radio station, as well.
