just upgraded from Intel Celeron 400Mhz to Intel Celeron 950Mhz and it won't work I think I need to change jumper and DIP switch settings on my 370SP CPU converter card can someone tell me

I would think the Celeron had a front side bus of 66mhz where as the new 950 likely is 100fsb.
The adjustments I would think are on the motherboard but you first need to know that it will support a 950@100 so you will need to check on the manufactures website.

Older boards had jumper adjustments for:
Front side bus
CPU core voltage (so check what it says on the CPU)
Clock multiplier

SO for a 950 with 100fsb the clock multiplier is probably:
9.5 X to get the 950mhz

Download and read the motherboard manual carefully.
