Hi,

I am able to do manual discounts without a problem
BUT

when it comes to configuring automatic discount for example 3 chocolate bars - 2€:s
it seems to be impossible. And there is no step by step instructions for this and
off course there is no help from Oracle - even though I would be willing to pay from it (what service?)

Current settings:
General
Type - automatic
Tax class - all taxes
Print class - normal
amount - 2
Category - 1
Key code - 3

Options
Amount - checked

Discount
Item discount - checked
Forgive cover count - checked

Itemizers
All itemizers checked

Exclusivity
Nothing checked

Rule setup

Rule type - Quantity treshold
Priority - 1
Amount - 2
Trigger - yes, that setup - 3 different chocolate bars....
Award type - amount substitution
Trigger quantity - 3
Discount is final - checked

With this - if i try to sell three different or same
chocolate bars that I have defined in trigger - nothing happens. (I have created one trigger, which has three different bars)

When I go and change the type from automatic to manual - sell three chocolate bars
and push the discount button - end result is "no sales to discount from".

Can you just explain what you want the discount to do and when?

I wanted to sell 3 different chocolate bars with 2€.

I finally got this working, I just had to configure each chocolate bar in the trigger as an individual row - you can not insert a range of items in one row inside the trigger.
Changed the rule as a combination pricing and inserted the same trigger three times - works ok.

Stupid and illogical like most of the Oracle sh****t.
