We have had the Micros 3700 for about a 11 months now and we're still working the kinks out. The restaurant and lounge are all set up and running the system. 2 work stations in the bar and 1 in the restaurant, plus the back office computer. And then we have a stand alone touchscreen pc running the Tab Wizard software that we use only for Pull Tabs.
We want to get rid of the Tab wizard in favor of the 3700 if that is at all possible.
Is there a program that can run along side or inside the RES? Is there a manual to program the database to function like the Tab Wizard?
An idea that I had would be to create a new Button labeled Pull Tabs. Under that have corresponding bowl numbers IE #1 #2 #3 #4... and so on. These would be treaded similar to menu items, non-taxable money in. Then I would need to create 3 condiments for each on the screen along with a numerical keypad for manual price entries.
The three keys would be IN (money paid in), OUT (money paid out the the player), and exchange (exchange winning tickets from more tickets).
This is where it gets sketchy. I would have to program a separate reporting function to track each game with a Sales Detail.
So the pull tabs need to be run inside of 3700 but I need to create X and Z reports for each.
There is possibly more to it but I don't have technical experience with Tab Wizard and I've never had to program a game into the system. It comes with a scale and hand bar-code scanner.
Thanks.
