I am stuck trying to configure my Partner Messaging without a 355AF adapter for the RS232 port. Does anyone know the pin-out for the adapter so I can wire a DB-25 hood for it? Any help would be greatly appreciated, there isn't a darn thing on the web.

Here is the pin out for a 9pin:

DB9 to RJ45 Pinout _

rj-45
PIN 1 ORANGE 2 CD
PIN 2 GREEN 5 RD
PIN 3 YELLOW 6 TD
PIN 4 BLACK 3 DTR
PIN 5 RED 4 SG
PIN 6 BROWN 7 DSR
PIN 7 WHITE 8 RTS
PIN 8 CTS
PIN 9 BLUE 1

It works in place of the 355AF.

Hey, if you only need it for a one time deal to set the IP address, use your modem and call into the Auto Attendant. Then dial **3 and you will connect that way.

Tommy, I tried that but for some reason my modem won't drop tones after dialing in. The AA answers, my moden dials **3 and after a few seconds I hear the click but the modem returns a no carrier status. Is the switch supposed to drop tones to let the modem know it's connected or do I have to pass a handshake command to the modem manually?
