3300 UPGRADE 1

I installed an AT&T Sierra Wireless Aircard in my laptop and since then i have to uninstall so i can upgrade a 3300. It has got something to do with ftp transfer. I was wondering if anyone had this problem and new a better fix.

My memory is fuzzy, but I recall there being an issue with the AT&T wireless cards messing with things. My guess is the installation package for the wireless card enabled some sort of firewall that blocks FTP. Check MOL, I think there was a tech bulletin about this.

one of the things that happens when you install AT&T (Cingular) software is that it provides firewall. Go to the properties of the app and turn the firewall off. That should do it.
