Has anyone else done this upgrade recently? I noticed that after the upgrade. The new pkg automatically sized my hunt groups on the system down to 16 max. Then it ignored all hunt groups after the 16th one therefore rendering vm and a bunch of other things down. Is this a bug? I think a long time ago I had to flex the dimension to get more than 16 hunt groups...ether way...shouldnt the upgrade keep the settings?

3300 upgrade from 9.0 UR2 to MCD4.0 - Lost hunt groups

Sounds like the extended hunt group option in the LOS, was that set/missed?
The 3300's I work with have 170+ hunt groups by default.
What type of controller is you are working with?
When you are performing an upgrade there is a check box to select whether the dimensions are loaded from the backup or not. I suspect you did not load the dimensions from your backup and as such there were defaulted.

I've completed my second upgrade to MCD 4. There seems to be some problems with the restore. The restore actually performs a convert and I've seen 2 seperate issues but couldn't find any errors in the restore log. Perhaps a new restore of the db would help.. You did make a seperate backup before the upgrade....right?

yea I did make a backup. can you restore the 9.0 backup to the MCD4.0 database or were you suggesting restoring the 9.0 backup to a 9.0 build and then try the upgrade again?
I have an extra MXe here so what I did was just reloaded the backup to that and I manually copied the missing settings. There was only about 30 hunt groups total so I only had to add about 16 records manually.

I would have tried a manual upgrade and used the 9.0 backup. It would still have done a convert but M A Y B E the hunts groups would have restored. Sounds like you've fixed your problem already. A restor to another unit would have failed due to SYSID mismatch.
