Hi,
Anyone used 3300 to 3300 SIP trunking before?
Is it stable? does it work?

This post relates to my other post
I'm looking to achieve some sort of way to mesh a network of controllers using SIP trunking as apposed to IP Networking.

Following a similar model with IP networking and clusters beyound 249 controllers. Essentially with IP networking you won't be able to fully mesh all controller beyond 249 nodes. So the recommended way is to configure a controller as a 'gateway'. I forget the exact Mitel terminology.

any input and ideas much appreciated

There is a knowledge base article from Mitel on how to do 3300 to 3300 via SIP so I would think that it does work. Don't see why it wouldn't

The single biggest problem with communications is the illusion that it has taken place.

loopylou I dont see the article you are reffering to. do you have a copy of it perhaps?

As to whether it can be done

I asked the same question recently and here are the replies.

Haven't yet tried it.
