3300 CX software version is 7.1.3.4_2 is has CCM and Ops manager.

SMDR output stops usually on a Saturday.

Looking at wireshark logs the call logger continues to send keep a lives but the 3300 fails to output SMDR records until call logger is restarted.

Anyone had this ?

Thanks

I have to say that I have just recently came back to Telecom after a change of career for a few years so am a bit rusty but glad to be back.

No they have a small call center 8 am to 9 pm weekdays and 8am to 5pm Saturdays.

SMDR is streaming into the CCM in real time and not into OPS manager. CCM seems to generate ACD reports correctly and works well most of the time.

The customer has replaced the sever where CCM is located and had prairieFyre update the software so now they suspect the 3300.

I'm not entirely sure how to eliminate the 3300. I guess I can just hook up a telnet session to port 1752 and let it run all weekend along with CCM but I suppose that when port 1752 stops all connected sessions will not receive any data.

Apparently it always fails on a Saturday perhaps some kind of weekly maint routine ?

I must admit that I am not that familiar with CCM but I'm learning !!

OPSman is NOT supposed to collect SMDR unless nothing else is available. OPS does not collect in real time and is used for archival purposes only. It would not surprise me if OPS completes the process by halting the SMDR stream to wait for the next collect. If you have enabled OPS to collect SMDR, turn it off.

Sorry what I was trying to say was that Ops manager is not collecting SMDR data and that SMDR is streaming directly to the contact center management call accounting system from the 3300 on port 1752

SMDR file transfer is not enabled for Ops manager in the 3300 nor is real time reporting.

Ops manager is installed on a seperate server as suggested by Mitel and SMDR file transfer is not enabled

That is good.

If the service is failing consistantly, I would use wireshark to determine what, if anything, is happening when the service fails.
