3300 no audio one way after call has been in progress SIP trunks.

Odd one. Customer reports that they suffer one way audio from one phone to one number after they have been on the call a little while (trying to find out how long) and they say they can hear other party but other party cannot hear them) No-one else appears to be experiencing a problem. I'm checking that other sets can make a call to the same number for the same length of time.

I've had them check simple things like handset calls but as above, and what is really weird, is that the problem is to only one number. It would appear that streaming to the other side is the problem but I just can't get my head round why one phone and only one number. The only clue is that the other number is reported to be VoIP as well (not sure if hosted or otherwise) Any ideas?

3300 Rel5.0 5312 phone SIP trunks only (no MBG straight from 3300)
 
Take a wireshark and look at your rtp streams. My guess is that there is a renewal error. Is the outside number also on SIP? Perhaps it is an issue on the other side (especially is all other numbers work fine)?
 
THanks. I came to the conclusion that the problem was the other end (also on SIP) and the problem seems to have gone away now.
 
I had this issue a little while back

45 seconds into the call 1 way audio

I toggled the SDP Re-Invite option and it went away

Toggled it as off and back on (or vice versa) or just turned it off if were on a or vice versa? Strange its only one set though....was yours?
 
Toggled as in what ever it was set to I set it the other way.

Can't remember which way.
