I have a 3300 MCD 5 with SX200 bays attached and in the bay I have a 12 Port DNI, I need to program a SS420 (I know but don't ask) and when I do in the users and devices form is says invalid device, when I try from the multiline DNI form it says not supported on SX200 bays. I searched this forum and found that the SS420 can be programmed so what am I missing. To confirm that the DNI card was ok I programmed a 4025 and that went ok.
Thanks

You sure the forum says its supported on a SX200 bay and not a SX2000?

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

thought I read that, but could be wrong. Does anyone have a SS400 series phone working on a 3300 MCD 5 and a SX200 bay?

the answer from Mitel is no, not on SX200 bays but can on a SX2000 bay.

Better late than never.

According to the Tech Handbook pg 62

SX200 Bays -
Supported peripheral devices are limited to the following:
• SUPERSET 4000-series DNIC telephones
• PKM 48, PKM 12 (attached using a SIM1 or SIM2)
• Analog Interface Module (AIM) connected to a SUPERSET 4025, 4125, or 4150
• SUPERCONSOLE 1000.

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

Which means no SS420 for you.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.
