3300 LX - Memory Upgrade?

Hi Guys,

We still have some 12 o 15 customers with 3300s LX (256 MB).

Can the RAM memory of the LX be upgraded to 512 MB, if yes, what's Mitel Part Number?

There were 2 versions of the LX.

One with 256 MB and one with 512 MB

The 256 model cannot be upgraded and requires a hardware replacement.

The memory in an LX is directly soldered to the main board. No easy way to change. AS kwbMitel states the best you can hope for is finding one of the LX's that came with 512 already. Going forward even having those LX's might not be enough given they have a much slower processor then what is coming out on the MXe III's etc. I guess this kind of reinforces the up side of the vMWare virtuals controllers in that it free's you from hardware worries ( at least on the 3300 side ).
