How do i turn call waiting off on ip set.

Camp On tones on the receiving phone can be disabled by enabling COS Option "Camp-on Tone Security/Fax Machine"

Select "Yes" to prevent camp-on tone from being presented to a station. Although the camp-on feature is not disabled by selecting this option, any audible notification is disallowed and camp-on is applied without intrusion on the called party's line.

Selecting "Yes" also removes compression (G.729a) as a codec choice. Devices with this option enabled will default to G.711 as the codec.

Bigfish1, please describe your problem in details. Seems that it's not Camp On tones.

basically when I am on call on my handset would like the next caller who rings my DDI to received busy tone. instead of getting call waiting in my display.

You need to remove Camp On ability from the calling device for them to receive busy tones. (Trunk if DDI)

Is this the auto campon timer or the campon recall timer on the trunks COS ?

I think you blank out the "Auto Campon Timer" to disable campon.
