Hi,

I have 3300 rel 7.1 with embedded PRI. It's possible to block the number of incoming call ? (i.e. only 8 channel for first DID, 4 channel for second DID, ...)

Thank's

I'm not too sure what you are asking so I will present a couple of options. Beyond this, you may need to be more specific.

If you are refering to a DID number that you own on the PRI and want to block it totally, then I would suggest not programming a destination for that DID. Then the caller will hear "I'm sorry that number is not in service" from the PRI provider.

If you want to limit the amount of available B channels that the DID number can use or what specific B channels to use,the PRI provider may be able to help. Typically, if a B channel is available, the CO will present the call.

If you are refering to blocking calls originating from a specific number, then I would suggest contacting your PRI provider to do that. I am unaware of a way to do this via the Mitel equipment. If it is possible, then I would be very interested to see how.

Yes, I would like to limit the amount of channel by specific DID (i.e my main number, busy after 8 incoming calls, my sale number, busy after 4 incoming calls), not by global DID and not by the additional channel for all DID. I know that my provider can do it, but I would like to manage it.

Thank's for your help

If you have 8 answering points and don't have any rerouting for this number it will give busy signal.

The typical solution for this is Min/Max programming on the PRI. Unfortunately, Min/Max is only available via the NSU (Not Embedded as far as I know.

There might be ways of using hunt groups with campon disabled after all menbers are in use but that's only a might as I have never tried.

Get an NSU if you want to manage it.

Pay your provider otherwise.

Sorry, Same answer as before.
