I have followed the instructions exactly.

File size 160 X 103 (pixels)
Foldername ScreenSaver
HTML Filename - ScreenSaver.spx
No errors
Uploaded No Errors

Result - default ScreenSaver - WTF

Anyone tried this successfully??

Does it require a controller reboot?

My friend Olive tried on ICP V8.0, it works fine
No controller reboot, but AppHtmlUpgrade needed of course...

Now, it's about French users too !!!

Found the problem.

The instructions do not include a required Maintenance Command. htmlappupgrade

You can use the Mitel Application Builder for free to make screen savers for the 5330 and 5340 phones, it produces a simple installer program to upload the screen saver to the switch.

I used that link from ingenious and it was as easy as cheese. I made the screen saver at home this weekend from my laptop on my company vpn in about 5 minutes. You click on that link and make yourself an account. Next upload you image and click finish. That site will then package a little installer program. You download that plug in the ICP ip and passwords and as easy as I have put it, it worked. I didnt see it work on my 5330's but my bosses were definately happy to see our logo on the 5340's this morning. I would definately reccomend using this as it saves a lot of time and even better......its free.

Was the logo the only thing visible or were the normal keys and functionality available while the logo was visible?

Basically, You know the mitel logo that bounces around on the screen as the default screen saver. I not have the company logo bouncing around as a screen saver. No keys visible but I assume thats how it should be. im sure its something small to get it working on the 5330's but we only have 2 or 3 of those so im not too worried
