How many IP handsets are working?

Is system set for 6/2 split, may need to change to 5/3.

What other applications? Call Centre etc?

Regards

Also, if you have ISDN dial up configured, this will use 27 signalling/media channels whether in use or not....

thx for the reply,

its 2/6 split, it has 47 digital handsets, no call centre, just voicemail, modules are PRI, GASM8, 2x 32 dsm. Only able to connect 2x ip handsets, the others say "no ports", they have 22 ip client lic's.

Are the 32 DSM (+) or no (+)

Non + take's up 2 Bus each
32+ use 1 Bus each

PRI uses 1 Bus
GASM8 uses 1 Bus

So if there Non+ you can't change the Split.

OK then you are using 4 Bus's and your a 2/6 split.

you can use Bus,s 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. If you have any thing on Bus 7 move it off this Bus so you can change the Split to 3/5, that will open Bus 7 for IP phones.

Many thanks for all your help acewarlock.

The cust is planning on adding 13 IP phones in total. So if we change to a 3/5 split that will be able to support them? Its a bcm400 with 2xPECIII. Also changing from a 2/6 to a 3/5 will wipe the programming, can i do a BRU on the 2/6 then restore on to the 3/5?

Move the Mod on Bus 7 to another Bus and it shouldn't effect any programming, but be on the safe side and do a backup after changing the Bus. you should only need to backup Telephony not everything.
