30EC Module

We have Avaya ACS system.
It consists of 4 modules:
-308EC
-308EC
-ACS Processor
-Partner Messaging
All together it povides 24 extensions.
Q: can we use existing connector in this Avaya housing (unoccupied now) to add one more 308EC module with 8 more extensions?

Yes, BUT, you should move the voice mail to the last slot, and put the 308 where the VM is now. Otherwise, you will have a gap in your extension numbering.

This will also require some reprogramming, and nothing will work right until the programming is done.
 
What will we need to reprogram? Just for the added extensions, I hope.

TTT's suggestion to move the voicemail module to the last slot in the carrier will result in the need for a small amount of re-programming, but positioning the voicemail in the last slot is a very good practice (there is 1 exception to this rule, but it does not apply in your situation).

If you put the new module in the last slot, to the right of the voicemail, there will really be no programming changes required, but, as TTT pointed out, there will be a gap in the extension numbering.

Also, we ended up purchasing a 012E module instead of the 308EC, since we won't be adding any new lines...just extensions.
 
In a nutshell, you would unassign the existing ports in TG 7 and then assign the new ports to that group. The exact ports in TG 7 will depend on which voicemail system you have (Partner Mail VS or Avaya Partner Messaging).

This will move your former VM ports to the next slot, and set up the extensions on the new 012 with the same programming as current Ext. 33. Then you will need to program the new extensions however you want them to work.
 
Make sure you have a 5.0 or later processor when installing an 012 card or it won't work.
