3004-004 error in aix

Hi

I have AIX 5.1 system.If I try to open telnet sessions more than 6 it shows me follow. error

3004-004 You must "exec" login from the lowest login shell.

I checked with /etc/security/login.cfg --
Maxlogins -- 3000
Also /etc/security/user & /etc/security/linits

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

sounds like the error i get when i su to somebody else and then try to do something... which i forget. see if you have su'ed and back out.
