3 to 5 digits

Hello to all.

In my office one is going away to change of the 3 to 5 digits extensions, in addition, the operator will happen to be the 7 to be the 9.

Which is the best form to do it?

With the SMARTFTP I do not see the directories

With the CuteFTP I have the problem:

COMMAND:> LIST
STATUS:> Connecting FTP data socket 172.24.177.231:2565...
150 Opening data connection for (Opening data connection for (Opening data co) (172.24.177.231,2565).
226 Closing data connection.
STATUS:> Getting listing "/ USR1"...
COMMAND:> TYPE A
200 Command okay.
COMMAND:> CWD / USR1
521 "/ USR1" is not a directory
ERROR:> Permanent completion problem reply.

You can use a simple webbrowser like Internet Explorer to do this. Put in address filed:

ftp:\\172.16.0.20 (ip address of NIU)

logon screen appears......
then logon using appropiate username/password (level 5 or higher in most cases)

then step through MD file system to REL1 directory.

Click mouse button (right click)

Copy to directory on PC/network.

The biggest issue is probably the authorization (username/password)!

no the problem is that NIU sends "/ USR1" as directory as reply to the LIST command. CuteFTP doesn't know how to handle that. only tools I know that work with the NIU are SmartFTP, wsftpPro and MDDiskTool (don't kown about windows). We use SmartFTP as preferred tool. To make SmartFTP work you must change some settings. click on the menu "tools" and then "Settings". now click on "Transfer" and make sure NO checkbox is checked, because the NIU doesn't recognize the extended FTP commands (like -a, -L,...). If you did this you'll be able to see the directories...
