We have 3 internal networks with cisco PIX 501s heading up each one. I have a few machines that need to communicate accross these networks on a regular basis, so I am in need of routing. For instance.. any workstation on network A needs to be able to get to one particular server on network B via telnet. I have been accomplishing this by manually adding the route to the local machines routing table when it is necessary for that machine to reach network B, but I need a permanent solution.

What should I be looking at as a routing solution? Should I setup a box with three NICs that would forward to the PIX gateway on each network? What sort of hardware solution could I look at for this?

Thanks for any assistance!

Or you can use a Cisco Switch that does routing. Most of their newer switches now do routing and have full VLAN support. You can also cluster them for scalability.
