3 extension in a hunt group and the last one to go to VM

I have 3 extensions in a hunt group. 3618 (Main Number) goes to 3105 goes to 3179. My goal is to have the call go to voice mail if no one answers 3618 and it bumps to 3105 then it bumps to 3179. I have 3179 forward to the voice mail number. However I believe the problem is when the call originates at 3618. If no one answers, it bumps to 3105 but it NEVER bumps to 3179. I have an Option 11C and Meridian Mail.

If someone has experienced this any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

If you mean that the sets hunt to each other (With FDN/HUNT/EHT/EFD) you need to set the SFA option in the CLS of all the sets, so it keeps hunting.

If you mean a real hunt group with a PLDN the last entry (entry 4) should be voicemail and the box that it will go to is the PLDN box.

Thats right, you need sfa and the call will go to the Mmail (to the 3618 mailbox)

i have the same problem and i have set sfa in all three numbers. however, even though i have set last to rco1 it rings and rings and eventually says no reply. i need it to go to voicemail.

fna is only good for three hops.. not a way to bypass that, hunt is good for 31 hops..sfa on the last set will not extend the number of hops but will send the call to the orig dialed vm box as opposed to the final hop vm

johnpoole, you have been very helpful to me. i was wondering if you could tell me exactly what i need to set. it dials to 7988 which hunts 5485 which hunts 7900 which should hunt original voicemail of 7988. can you outline whihc hunts etc need to be set and what i need in cls

it can't ring out on an set that is busy? with set three busy (all lines marped and included in lhk) the hunt will take effect.. with one line ringing (out) fna is disabled because of the three fna limit.. use fna on each set to mail and the hunt to the sets in series.. works almost as well.. fna was never designed to provide endless hops.. it takes up to much common equiptment and processor time..

Hi,

You are talking about a hunt group. Do you mean a GHT (LD 18) with a PLDN (LD 57) if so, the CFW is never followed. When you put all the sets in CFW (To a whatever number) all DID calls will go to the attendant.

the default is att as set by rdr data.. ghnt can affect rna adversly but the 4th hop on a fdn is not going to go.
