Does anyone know the 3.2 Maintenance release date?

I thought that it was supposed to be Friday 13th October, but haven't seen anything on the Avaya (public) website yet.

Oktober 27th is the current data mentioned to the trial partners.

ITHack: 3.2.17 is a relatively good build, however there are some anomilies that are a little annoying.

For example, we used to use a shortcode from analogue extensions to park calls; this currently doesn't work in 3.2(17).

On the whole it has been relatively stable (since I found an error in my config (had a hunt group with itself set as the overflow group - cause the system to reboot)).

Had that problem to..

Overflows don't work in 3.2(17). I am desperately waiting for the Maint release or the trial 3.2 release to fix it

We have plenty of HGs with overflows and they work fine for us. The only problem was that we (accidentally) made the HG the overflow for itself (picked the wrong group when setting up). It was anoying that it kept rebooting the system, but managed to get to the bottom of it.

I've found that if you have a shortcode ending with ";", 3.2.17 then waits forever to place the call. That wasn't the case with 3.1.48.

I need to use the ; for international calls for some reason. At the moment the only solution is to add # to the end of the number, and it then works OK.

Anyone else seen this?

Release date is currently set at 27/10/06, it was posponed after Avaya found a major problem in the planed release (but didnt sat what it was)

3.2.17 is stable, we have not had any problems that I would report as "Show Stoppers

I would WAY prefer that Avaya held the release and fixed it. Wonder if they'll still call it the "September Maintenance Release"?

Sure it will, and the november release will probably come in december :)

No different than the way Microsoft has been naming their operating systems from Windows 95 on up...

ITHack, I use shortcodes ending in ; (both for dialing out on PRI and for h.323 trunks) and have no problem in 3.2.17. What locale are you in?

Overflow problems come out when the main group and the overflow have shared members. It rings straight through to the overflow group.

Has anyone got hold of and tried 3.2(50) trial release. Avaya have given me this and I was wondering if anyone has had any problems before I upgrade our problem site.

I used it on a 412, much fun! rebooted three times a day.
Now there is 3.2.53, the above should be fixed but my customer had enough for one day...
No problems on 406V2 and 403.

s it 3.2.53 coming out a week on Fri??

do not use 3.2.50; is has some serious problems with respect to sending and receiving faxes and the 412 has reboot issues. Try 3.2.53 if you can get it.
