3.2 Call Listen.

HELP!!!!!

I have a customer that has 3.2 (54) on a 406. They use the call listen feature which works fine. But about 50% of the time it Listens into 2 extns rather than just the 1.
Eg Shortcode is *#N#

Superviser dials *# 220 #, They start listening to to 220 but extn 221 will also be be in there.

Anyone heard of this and know a fix rather than a major upgrade.

You could try an upgrade to 3.2.69

Yeah, I've never heard of this, the fact you are using shortcodes would suggest analogue sets and these are subject to crosstalk with old/dodgy cabling which can't be resolved by the system

amriddle01 they are using 5602 sets but want to dial shortcodes. And they are on Cat5e.

Upgrade it is then, providors can often cause crosstalk too even on PRI/BRI when there kit goes faulty but that would be apparent on all calls not just call listen

if the upgrade doesn't work i would swap the unit out. might be a faulty conference chip.

also your version from 3.2 (54) to (69) will upgrade your 5410 / 20 handsets to r5 bins.

you might want to step your modules with 3.2(999) as well.

3.2.999 came with R4 so not necessary
