Does anyone have experience upgrading an S8300 from 3.1.2 to 3.1.5?
I would like to do this using TFTP. I have the files on a TFTP server on our network. The 3 files I need are 01.5.642.3-16210.tar.gz, 01.5.642.3-14809.tar.gz and x8x00-03.1-01.5.642.3.iso.
The last .iso file wants you to create a disk. I guess to send to the locations to load from the local CD drive. I have 50 sites to do and don't want to send CD's all over the country. Bandwidth is not an issue.
Any advise or documentation would be appreciated.

You need to burn that ISO to a CD, then load that using TFTP, it is about 700MB or so, once unpacked. THis needs to be loaded to each S8300, it can be done as long as you have IP connectivity to each remote site.

Thanks for the response.
Network is good to each site so TFTP shouldn't be a problem.
I'm burning the CD now. When loading it on the TFTP server do I ne everything on the CD or just the Release files?
Have you found any Avaay docs on this process?
Thanks

you put the main directory up on the tftp server, and use "manage software", under the "maint web page", then point it at your TFTP server, and load it as an installable image, onto the S8300.

Yes, there are documents on upgrades and additions, I have posted links before, if you search you should find them.
