I have a home network in which I run both vpn and nat on the same server. I can successfully log in to my vpn server and even ping the other addresses on my network. My problem is that it won't let me browse the network or even enter the unc of a computer. I have checked all the routing tables so could this be a dns or netbios problem? The weird thing is that when I search for computers it can find it but it says "unknown" under the location and it won't let me connect to it. By the way, I am running a domain on my network with dns but no wins. Any help would be appreciated

Well it seemed that the problem of browsing the network was mainly due to netbios. I entered in some names into the lmhosts file until I can get around to setting up a wins server but now I have another problem. It seems that when I try to access another computer on the network it asks me to re-enter my username and password. None of the domain accounts I have work, just the local system accounts. It is also still putting all the network computers in a workgroup called unknown.
