I have an end user that is over 2 gigs in pst file, and I was wondering is there anyway to recover the folder names. If you all have any suggestions please recommend.

Thanks

u may want to run defrag and scanpst a few times. but with the size of the file, u might as well kiss it good bye

Umm...you defrag sometimes works so does scandisk. Scanpst will NOT work on a pst that size. There is a utility you can dl that will shave a portion of the pst off. It will break off the first portion of the file. Scanpst the peice you shave and that should repair it. Note you need to shave it to around 25MB under the 2GB limit. Good luck

When you're having a bad day just remember it could be worse.....couldn't it?

Thanks everyone for the help I had to shave off the file then ran scanpst.exe....Thanks for everything.
