2924XL in a single VLAN

I have an older 4/1mb 2924XL switch running 11.2 (8) SA6 IOS and I want the entire switch to be in a single VLAN (other than 1, that is). This switch can't do commands like 'switchport mode trunk'. Any ideass? I can get this to work with an unmanaged Bay Networks switch, but not the Cisco. This shouldn't be that hard, right? Help!

go to the ports and do "switchport access vlan xx" xx being the vlan that you want..
