I have a 2651XM that I recently installed a WIC1-DSU-T1 card in. When I power up the router I get no LED lights on the card itself and when I do a sh run, or sh int no new interfaces appear.

Anyone have a clue what might be going wrong?

do a show diag and see if it shows up

Check what IOS your running and your free memory, Ihave had a T1 with FE NM not run on a 3640 becuase it was out of DRAM.

Other than that the module may be DOA

Visit for free Cisco rack access.

This is what comes up. How do I check memory usage and IOS version?

Try changing slots. Some of the routers don't recognize certain cards in certain slots.

Heres the information I could find, I'm on 12.1(11)T which fromt he documentation I found on the 2600 series it is supported. Not sure about memory usage thought.

Hello...

Think your problem may be that the older T1 (Wic-1dsu-T1) may not work in that router. You probably need the newer (Wic-1dsu-T1-V2) card.

It is the V2 card as shown in the 'show diag' output:

WIC Slot 1:
..........
Product Number : WIC-1DSU-T1-V2
Top Assy. Part Number : 800-22193-03
...........

Ok, whats the best way to figure out the correct IOS version required?

I currently have the following installed in the 2651XM:

NM-8T1-IMA - 8-port T1 IMA adaptor
WIC-1DSU-T1-V2 - 1-port T1 CSU/DSU

I need both of these to be functional. How do I figure out which IOS to use?

There are a great many to choose from for your platform based on the features you need. If you have smartnet on that router you could open a TAC case with Cisco and have them tell you which IOS to use. If not just need to research it but from what I can see those newer IOS releases should support that module. Make a backup of current IOS before loading newer IOS.
