I currenlty have 5 routers from the 2500 for my CCNP lab. For the most part, this is enought to get by BCSI. Looking ahead for labs in the BCMSN, I realize I will need a router that supports trunking. I am looking at 2620's and some come with WIC-1DSU-T1 (integrated DSU) and others with WIC-1T or WIC-2T.

Can I use the DB60 DTE/DCE crossover cable to connect to any of these interfaces the same way I connect to the serials on the 2501 abd 2520?

Thanks

If it has an integrated DSU all you will need is a T1 crossover (assuming it is going to another T1 card w/DSU). The WIC-1T has a DB-60 interface on it, the WIC-2T has a smart serial connector on it so you will need a different cable.

Either way, you should be able to get everything connected without too much trouble.

thanks for the info--sound good
