2611 can't recognize WIC 1ENET

Hi Everyone,

I have 2611, 2611XM routers with 2 ethernet. I purches 2 WIC-1ENET card and install in WAN slot. Both router can't recognize those cards. Guide me please.

Sorry to say,but that WIC is only compatible con the 1700 series.You will need a NM-xx for the 2600 series.

I have just notice that you have another active posts.Why do you need the 2 WIC-1ENET?I don't think you should to change your broadband technology.Please explain why you are considering this move.

No. I don't want to change my broadband techno. I was using build in ethernet ports. 0/0 for LAN and 0/1 for WAN connect to Cable Modem. I just had it for testing only.
