2610xm cant up certain flashes...

ok router works with some flashes but not the ones i want it to work with lol. heres the error message. __________________________________________________________

I hope its just a corrupted ios. Some ios works some dont.


 
You have to know how much flash and dram the router has . If the IOS you are trying load takes more than you have installed on the machine then you will see these type problems , verify how much dram and flash is required for the image you are trying to load .
 
It looks to me like you have an issue with the ROM image being corrupt or the ROM itself on the router. I've seen this before (on a 3600) and to resolve it I had to replace the ROM memory.

Is the rom image the bootrom? I hope it is. ive, swapped and replaced roms in 2500s but never in 2600 or 2600xm, i guess i will start looking for xm boot rom them. Thanks for all the replys. The router is 128/32, with one dram slot unfilled. A nm-4e is also present.
 
and also it seems like my tftpdnld settings are reset everytime the router reboots. I dont remember this happening with other non xm 2600 routers. Is this also because of the rom or am I missing a command to actually save tftpdnld settings before reseting.
