I have two 2600 routers that I want to set up in a lab environment. I am hoping to take the CCNA in the next month or so. What type of cable do I need to connect the two T1 interfaces (RJ-45) to emulate a serial connection. I want to be able to set up frame relay etc. I have done this several years ago, but can't remember what the cable type was that we used. Thanks.

Use this pinout to make a T1 back to back cable.

Thanks. It looks like I found one not being used. I will use your pinouts to try and make another.

FYI,
If you are testing frame relay connections, you will need to program a router as a frame switch.

For point to point T1 connections, it is much simpler.

How difficult would simulating a frame switch be? I have 3 2600s at my disposal and two Cat 2900 switches. I would like to be able to set up a frame connection as well as point to point.
