The Cisco 2520 Router I am using has this prompt...

Router(boot)>

I restored the IOS with a fresh copy using my TFTP server. The IOS originally said <invalid checksum>. After rebooting the router it still has the same prompt. Any ideas of how to get rid of it?

It never did this before. It has been several months since I last used it though.

Thanks in advance,
Chris

I changed the config-register to 0x2142 and the prompt went away but when I changed it back to the default of 0x2102, it came back. Now why is that?
