2410 or 2420 Serial Number

Is there any way to verify the serial number, which is stickered on the back of the phones, on either a 2410 or 2420 on the IP Office. My company wants to try to verify these on phones for warranty purposes. We are trying to make sure someone doesn't just switch the backs of the phones. I know the 46XXSW IP phones have a way using the menu display on the phones.

Any help would be appreciated.
