not an NEC guy here but we have a customer with an NEC IPX 2400 so guess who gets to figure it out?
Issue is that not too long ago we added some additional DID's to the system as they were out of free ones. the group we got was 25xx. A problem has been discovered where when a user gets a call and goes to transfer that call to a user with a 25xx number, the call ends up at the front desk. I used DCON to trace it and found the call when transfered rings to a station(1858) which is just a single line phone up in a lounge. The call is unanswered there and then rings the attcon. If someone calls the 25xx stations directly it rings fine, issue is only when a call is transfered. I checked call forwarding on 1858 and V,B and D, are all blank, so not sure how the call ends up at the attcon. Call forward on the 25xx stations have V-bank, B and D go to VM.
I appreciate any insight on this issue......!!

Check ASPA in the ACC put 25 (or However you have the number group broken out) in the CI input N for normal. the SRV should read STN and the NND should be the number of digits for your extension number. Confrim the same settings are there with the CI changed to "H" and "B" If they are not the same, make them so. Test and let us know...

Thanks for the reply. I should have mentioned this is a hotel/motel package. ASPA command is "not in the system". I do have AASP in the Hotel/Motel. I put 25 in there and then in the SRV I try to put in STN. It will not let me put the T in. I look at the MAT help and STN is not a valid entry. When I scroll down in the help and look under NND it has the example of "if SRV=STN ~>NND(1-6) so that shows me it should be a valid entry.
When I pull up the listup(LASP) the entries are 0, 9, 71 (ANNC), the rest are all *x, or #x codes. *2 does have a SID of 15 and NND 4. Was trying to find a list of the SID's so I could figure out what they mean. Search of the documents came up empty.

Are these phones for Staff or Guests? If these are for staff look at AANP for digit 2. If no data then write for N (normal) H (hooking and B (busy). Then go to AASP and assign 25 as a stn access code. Then you will need to set data in AAST for len and class

Thanks for the response, These are admin DID's. I will be at this site tomorrow and give this a try.

Thank you thank you...thank you.....in aanp under 1stDC of 2 and hooking was set to NND of 1. Changed it to 4 and that fixed it.
