Hello, I have a request to program the 2250 console to ring 4 times and forward to the
greeting That is used when we put the console into nites((((

Thanks ..........Kim13

Ill put it this way....When console is on "Night", all calls go to Auto Attendant.
Re-program calls going to console during the day to go to Auto Attendant after 4 rings.

In LD 12 set AADN to be the same as the dn programmed for nite's.

In LD 15 set atim timer to be the amount of time in seconds the call should ring at the console before going to the auto attendant.

my atim is set to 0 and the AADN is ?
im new at dealing with the console, would that be a seperate extension than the
company wide voice mail (meridian) is set to..
I do understand the night greeting would have it own mailbox x.
I just need find out what it is. would that be the aadn????

Thanks again

You need to use the same Dn(ext)number as the one programmed in Ld 15 nite prompt.

To find this use LD 21
prt
cdb
cust 0

ATIM timer should be set to the number of seconds you want the call to ring at the attendant before going to AADN.
Normal ring cycle is 4-5 seconds.
4 rings =20 seconds

Thanks Lineconnector

Ill look at the cdb...

Hi ,

This is the plan..for the attendant consoles.
go to

Ld 15 change the

Tim_Data

atim 0 to 4

add the nite dn xxxx to each console's tn/aadn

Should that work.

ello,
I made the changes this weekend..
our atim was 0 so I added the nite aadn xxxx to the 3rd console and did some tests.
since the atim was 0 already it should of gone directly to nights when the 3rd console was in idle mode.
This did not work...................and the atim in the book says its the attendant alernative answering timer, any other suggestions...
Help.........

ATIM set to 0 disables the feature - you must set ATIM to an even number 2-126

Thank you Reusser,
I was able to borrow a new release cd
and was able to see that.

I really appreciate your help.
