I just pulled the 2245 out of the box. I plug it in, it goes through its boot sequence and comes up with a red error light and a green light on the LNKOK. No config has been done to this device.
I am attempting to connect via null modem cable with the standard settings using hyperTerminal:
— Bits per second: 9600
— Data bits: 8
— Parity: None
— Stop bits: 1
— Flow control: None
It doesn't seem to connect, I get no menu. Any ideas? What am I missing?
This is my second 2245, the first arrived with a big dent in it and the red error light, no green LNKOK... so I returned it. I also wasn't able to connect to it.
