Can anyone tell me what type of Partner system has a 206 card as the processor. And how to program distinctive line ring on that system if it could be done. The system was in a 2-slot carrier with two 206 cards installed. I tried feature 00 left intercom twice but that does not get me into any type of system programming

Any GRAY labeled 206 card that doesn't have an E or EC after the 206 is a baby partner or partner 206 controller. For example...... 206 R 3.1 is a processor card.... 206E R3.1 is an expansion module.

The 206 controller card has set buttons on the second row of your partner phone. Privacy, DND, LNR and something else, can't remember.

Programming needs to be done from ext 10 or 11. Older 206 cards do not show time and date for partner display phones. They only light the display screen up.

Line ringing cannot change as far as the ringing "tone", standard partner ringing.

So I cannot program a differnet ring on any line in the "baby" partner?

Nope however you could hook up an analog bell to the line ahead of the system on a CO line that you want to hear ring. You could also hook a bell to an extention in the system that rings on certain lines.
