Wondering if I can turn off or uncheck SIP-ALG setting from our firewall. Does the 2050 softphone require the SIP-ALG setting?

Thank You! Bret

The 2050 Softphone doesn't use SIP at all, so SIP-ALG on a router would have no effect on it.

The call signaling is handled using Unistim, the standard Nortel proprietary VoIP protocol. No router even knows it exists, so there's no issues with them mangling the traffic.
