2018 is the end of the line for our CS1K 1

I work for a large Telecom Company and heard a few days ago that 2018 will be end of support for the CS1K. Anyone confirm or deny that?

The date for End of Services Support (EoSS) depends upon what release you are on. There is no stated EoSS date for CS 1000 Release 7.6.

I haven't relied on support much in the past anyway, but I am getting a little long in the tooth. Besides, these old dinosaurs pretty much run themselves, don't tell my boss! :+)

I heard more like 2020 ... we will probably be moving to Avaya Red by then or might have a corporate Cisco going in ...
