I have a property where a couple of guest room phones won't ring on an incoming wakeup call whether set at the room via FAC or VM or by the console. I swapped the ONS cards just to make sure it isn't a card issue. There are no error or alarm logs that show an issue.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

are they the same cos as the rooms that do work? If you look at the status of the rooms from the console are they the same as the ones that do work? Not a 100 percent sure on this if they have to be or not but are they checked in? Been a long time since I did a hotel.

They don't need to be checked in but DND will cause issues.

Do the phones ring normally when called?

do you have option 13 enabled in for 4 to print auto wakeups, if you do you will see a valid room wakeup set, answered etc., if you do have that do you see the ones that don't work?
Confirm in form 9 that those rooms that don't work are programmed the same as the ones that work

All phones, working and nonworking have the same COS, COR, TENANT, and any other programming. None have DND enabled. All ring properly when called and if checked in forward to VM after 4 rings and if not checked in goes to front desk after 4 rings. That is what has me baffled since they all have the same programming and aren't on the same card or in the same bay.

Yes. Bay 1 is the first elx bay, the MX controller is bay 6.

are ones that work on the same card/bay? if so as a shot in the dark, delete from program the ones that don't work and then program them back in.

All of them are not on the same card and I deleted them and reprogrammed them with no change.

do you see the printout when set on a good one vs one that doesn't work? Any logs when you try and set on the ones that don't work?

Have you proven that the lamps themselves are working on the phones by moving it to a known working position and having the lamp flash?

Also, small note regarding call flow for checked out rooms. The call does not in fact go directly to the front desk. It actually goes to voicemail which answers and says "your call is being transfered to the front desk", and then the voicemail transfers the call.

@pandbear1 The printout is the same for working and non-working phones. Shows wakeup set and for working shows wakeup answered, non-working not answered.

@kwbmitel The lamps work on all phones and all phones ring when called directly from any telephone. They just don't ring on a wakeup call.

On the phones that don't work.....can you call them from the voicemail?

NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED!

Here's a thought.

Check for 35 for the extension

Is there another dialable number that starts with the same digits?

That was supposed to be form 35 (not for 35)
