I have a 2008 that will not allow the caller to call out, however they can receive calls into that particular dn. I have exchanged the sets, exchanged the tns on the frame, but still the same. Any suggestions?

DN may not be in DID range. Can you call the ext of the set.

Maybe set is forwarded - do a trace in ld 80

may be desi'd with wrong number - call another set with display and verify DN calling

I have done all of the above, the set is not forwarded in ld 80. It seems as if none of the keys are working. I just called the dn and asked the girl to place me on hold and it would not allow her to do so.

I would try rolling jumpers with a working 2008 and see if problem follow.

If follows, problem on swith

If stays at set, problem with set

Just remembered where I have seen this before - stuck key. Remove all the desi buttons from set and see if still a problem - if not put buttons back on one at a time to find culprit

I appreciate all the help, however, I replaced carbons in my path. Three buildings involved. Got the phone back up and going. I was starting to wonder, I had tried all of the suggested help.

all great help, but that is my 81. before i got out of cell phone range i had hill remove fna and nul the cfw 4 key that was active. he called back so i told him to mov the set or replace the card. after that i was without cell service so he posted here. he didn't mention that he had half a mile of cable with 4 carbons. he replaced the carbon in the switch room and the phone works. friday he'll move it to a remote in med park 9, a fiber remote multi ipe about 100 yards from med park 15. thanks everyone for the help..
