Has anyone applied the new CM Daylight Savings Time Patch?

If so, any problems? Can we just load it like any other hot-patch? (upload, then go to linux, and update_unpack then update_activate)?

Does it load over current patches smoothly?

This should help.

I finished mine successfully - If you read the FAQ that Mikey posted, I also had the same synchronization error when trying to save translations afterwards.

Somewhere in the instructions I read it says to do the procedure on your LSP's & Gateways first before the main servers. (I don't think I did this & I'm relying on Save translations to update... I could be wrong - don't remember.)

Not that it matters that much but I always find it much easier to put my files in the root of "C:\" drive when uploading and doing ftp/telnet sessions so I don't have to remember to type in long paths.

Good Luck - Mikey's FAQ is good, let us know how it goes!

The documentations for all upgrades and patches says to do the LSPs and ESS servers before you do the main server. Do Not use save translations to update the system, it won't. Save translations does just that the translations. It does not migrate software updates or patches.

Tolson, you're right, I just went into the web-interface and the patches are not on the LSP's. Yikes! Do you think I need to UNINSTALL the patch on my 8710 servers then back-track?

Thanks!

Thanks ALL.

I just upgrade my first of man, and applied the DST patch easily.

Thanks again!

Toni269, The DST patch cannot be uninstalled. At this point I would just apply the patches to the LSPs since the server is already patched.
