Is there a way to convert a Dbase from 2005 back to 2000 ?

Well I have set teh database to SQL 2000 (8) and then detached it from SQL 2005 and installed SQL 2000 on another machine and trying to attach the data base but I am getting the folloiwng error:

Error 602:

Error: 602, Could not find row in sysindexes for database ID 7, object ID 165575628, index ID 3. Run DBCC CHECKTABLE on sysindexes..

So I thought that this is a compatibility issue as when I attach it to SQL 2005 it works fine

this is one pain in the ASS... :-0... tnx for the info and will see what I can do now

This is standard. You normally can't go backwords because of changes in the meta-data format between versions.
