Hello Everybody

Does anybody no how many RAID Configurations 2003 R2 can see and work with?

In other words I have 3 RAID Controllers 2 with dual channel and 1 with (well 1) I have 6 drives in the server - 15 drives in 1 Power Vault and 15 in another.

The setup that is being push for our new program is:

RAID 1 for OS
RAID 5 Applications
RAID 5 Data
RAID 5 Data Logs
RAID 1 Temp Data files
RAID 0 DB Backup

Can Server 2003 R2 handle this set up?

I dont see why not. The raid is all handled at the hardware level so as long as you have good drivers for the hardware the OS will be fine. I have an R2 server with 3 raid cards in it and it works good.
