Can anyone tell me how many print devices I can run on one W2K3 server? We are currently using TCP/IP printing directly from the client machines to the printers. We want to set up a print server, or multiple servers, if needed.

Any and all help is appreciated.

I don't believe there is an actual limit.

In reality it's going to be more about the performance limits of the server (ram, cpu, hdd space, etc) and what type of job is going to the printers.

Don't forget about the number of drivers: I found this while googling: "For example, a server hosting 2,100 printers that use the same driver requires less registry access and saves some spooler processing compared to a server hosting 2,100 printers that use 215 unique printer drivers."

It's going to come down to the limits of your server.
