I have a 2000IPS and had a strange thing happen. While somebody was talking to another extension a voice came over the speaker on the Dterm phone being used. This was somebody totally different than the person being spoken with DTerm to DTerm. I realize that there is an intercom function but I have never programmed it and hope that somebody can guide me on where to look (I have MatWorx)to handle this.

This is an old problem I'm not sure was ever fixed. The default database in the 2000 has an access code for BGM (66). If the user accidently dials 66+0~9 the phone is locked to that BGM channel. If there is no trunk assigned to this channel for BGM (CM 484>0~9>DXXX) then the MP appears to go looking for one and sometimes accesses a trunk with a call in progress.
The best way to cure this is always remove the access code if there is no BGM and if you do assign it make sure you assign all 10 BGM sourses to a valid music source.
For now you should go to each station in the switch and dial 66 + # to cancel the feature and then go to CM 200>66>CCC to remove the code to stop it from happening again.
