Hi Louie,

Windows 2000 Advanced Server is a more powerful server designed for medium and large operations. It includes all the features of Windows 2000 Svr and more:

-Network load balancing
-Cluster services for application fault tolerance
-support for up to 8GB of memory
-up to eight-way SMP support

There is also the Windows 2000 Datacenter Server which is designed for large-scale enterprise networks.

Hope this helps,
kev

Windows 2000 Server supports up to 4 processors, whereas Advanced Server supports up to 8 processors. I believe that DataCenter Server supports up to 32.
